Perfect Strip Out and Demolition was contracted by our client Inscape Projects Group to carry out strip out and back to base demolition of 6 office levels in Chatswood. Strip out and back to base demolition of such a large office space spanning several floors (levels 6, 7, 8, 9, 12 and 13) is nothing new to our experienced crew of professionals.

Strip out and demolition scope of works included:

• Removal of all loose equipment, furniture, storage;
• Demolition of existing plasterboard partitions, doors, and glazed partitions ( 1,358 m2);
• Removal of all floor finishes ( 3,656 m2);
• Demolish and remove of internal staircase;
• Removal of all electrical and data equipment and cabling;
• Removal and disposal of all existing ceiling grid, ceiling tiles and light troffers (5,459 m2);
• Removal of mechanical equipment, associated mechanical wiring and piping;
• Removal and disposal of all finishes;
• Demolition and removal of bathroom equipment.

Although, loading out, tight access and live traffic made the project challenging, time consuming and labour intensive.

There was extensive exclusion-zone installed to ensure the safety of everyone on site. Our work could not perform smoothly without using it a low height forklift and spotter for the forklift.

Our skilled demolition crew of ten, supported by our fleet of forklifts and electric Twinca dumpers, demolished and exposed almost 6,000 m2 of gyprock walls, carpets, floors and ceilings in 6 weeks. The work was completed on time, safely and efficiently. We got positive feedback from our client Inscape Projects Group.
