Construction and commercial waste removal in Brisbane: who it is for
Builders and site managers who need a live site kept clear. Strip out and fitout contractors with a tenancy full of ceilings, partitions and joinery and one dock to get it out through. Facility and property managers with a refurbishment in an occupied building. Body corporates with common property works. We are not a household rubbish service, and we do not do garden or mattress clean ups.
The sites we are asked about in Brisbane are office towers along Queen, Eagle, Adelaide and George Streets, where the dock is off a laneway and the lift has to be booked, and the fringe offices of Fortitude Valley, Newstead, Spring Hill and Milton. Shopping centre work runs through Queen Street Mall, Westfield Chermside, Carindale, Indooroopilly and Garden City at Mount Gravatt. Industrial estates at Eagle Farm, Acacia Ridge, Rocklea, Archerfield, Wacol and Yatala have room for hook trucks and big bins. Hospital and school refurbishments cluster around Herston, Woolloongabba, Greenslopes, South Brisbane and Buranda. We own the fleet. More than twenty 4.5 tonne GVM tippers with high sides, tarps and toolboxes, roughly 2.5 cubic metres a load, and more than thirty skips from 5 to 30 cubic metres on our own hook trucks up to 30 tonne GVM 8 wheelers.
Bin only: we drop it, your trades fill it, we swap it. Loaded: we bring labourers with the truck and load it out for you. Managed: a standing arrangement on a live site, the same crew each week working to the programme.
A crew and truck beats a skip when there is no room for a bin, when the waste is up lifts and stairs, when loads are staged around a lift booking, and when material is sorted on the way out. On strip outs we usually do both: hand load out of the tenancy with barrows, bags and floor protection, and machine load at the dock where there is room.
What we take and how it is sorted
Construction and demolition waste, builders rubbish and site clean ups on live sites. Concrete and brick to crushing rather than landfill, kept out of the general bin because it makes the load heavy. Plasterboard separated during the lining stage, timber where there is volume, and metals first on any office floor: ceiling grid, partition track and cable trays. Carpet and underlay where a facility will take them. Fitout waste, workstations and joinery, with near new items set aside for reuse where agreed at quote stage.
On a tower the separation happens at the dock, because there is nowhere upstairs for a second bin. Mixed loads get classified by their worst component, so one sheet of contaminated material in a general bin can reclassify the lot.
Dockets, asbestos, permits and night work
Every load comes back with a weighbridge docket showing the weight, the classification and the receiving facility. For council conditions, environmental reporting, a green star target or a head contractor waste management plan, that paperwork is your evidence, and you can add it up yourself.
Asbestos and contaminated material goes as a separate classified load under licences held within Perfect Group, never in a general load, with clearance by the independent assessor. We hold the licences including friable.
A bin on a public road or footpath normally needs a council permit and sometimes traffic control, and the fine lands on the site. We will tell you whether you need one. Retail defits usually start after trade and have to be finished, cleaned and hoarded before the centre opens. Office towers often restrict noisy work and dock access to evenings and weekends. We work those windows as normal business, not as a special arrangement. Our Queensland trucks, bins and crews work out of Slacks Creek, just off the Pacific Motorway, so Brisbane jobs are local. CBD tower work means a booked dock and load out in the hours the building manager gives you.

At 141 to 147 King Street in the Sydney CBD, for RJA, King Street cannot take a queue of trucks during trading hours, so load out runs on night shift with permits and traffic control booked in advance, and clean brick, metal, rubble, soil and mixed waste are separated at source. At 321 Kent Street the load out ran on day and night shifts: 141 bin loads in 18 cubic metre bins and 441.25 tonnes in total, aluminium, clean gyprock and steel kept separate, all docketed.
At the NSW Leagues Club the service lift took one tub bin at a time down to the basement loading bay. At Bulli Hospital for Hutchinson Builders the crew could not use the lifts, so bins were loaded on a platform and forklifted down into a large skip. Six office levels in Chatswood for Inscape came out through tight access and live traffic, and four shops at Sydney Airport for Hicon ran the noisy work on night shift. At Redfern Tower for Deicorp, skip bins carried the load out during business hours on a twelve level tower where we cut the facade openings for the new hoist.
