Construction Waste Removal

Construction waste removal is the ongoing job of keeping a live building site clear while the build is still happening. Not one clean up at the end, a service that runs alongside the programme.

We do it with our own tipper fleet, our own hook trucks and skips, and crews who will load the material rather than just drop a bin and leave you to it.

Sydney and greater NSW from Marrickville, Brisbane and South East Queensland from Slacks Creek, and along the East Coast for jobs of the right size.

Takes 30 seconds. We call you back, usually same day.

A live site is different from a clean up

On a construction site the waste never stops and it changes character as the build progresses. Excavation spoil first, then formwork and concrete offcuts, then packaging and offcuts from every trade that comes through, then fitout waste at the end.

Each of those needs a different bin in a different place at a different time. Getting that wrong costs you more than the waste bill. Trades standing around waiting for somewhere to put something, or a full bin sitting in the loading zone blocking a delivery, is how a day gets lost.

So we plan it with the site manager rather than react to phone calls. Bin sizes and positions by stage, a swap frequency that matches the trade sequence, and a number that gets answered when the programme changes.

Loaded, or just carted

Bin only. We drop it, your trades fill it, we swap it. Cheapest option if you have the labour.

Loaded. We bring labourers and load it out for you. On a job where your trades are on hourly rates, paying a carpenter to carry rubbish down three flights is the most expensive waste removal there is.

Managed. We keep the site clear as a standing arrangement, working to the programme, with the same crew each week so they know the job.

If what you actually want is people and gear by the hour, that is our labour with tools service instead.

Separating streams on a working site

Separation is harder on a live site than on a demolition because twenty different trades are throwing things in the same bin.

What works is keeping it simple. A metals bin, a clean timber bin where there is volume, and a general bin, rather than an elaborate system nobody follows. Plasterboard separated during the lining stage when it is nearly all one material, and concrete kept out of the general bin because it makes the whole load heavy and expensive.

Mixed loads get classified by their worst component, so one sheet of contaminated material in a general bin can reclassify the lot. That is worth a two minute conversation at induction.

Access, permits and the street

Most sites we service are on established streets with no room. A bin on a public road or footpath normally needs a council permit and sometimes traffic control, and the fine lands on the site, not on us.

We will tell you whether you need one. On tight sites we size the truck to the street rather than to the load, which means more movements and less chance of a truck blocking a road or clipping a kerb.

For multi level work we plan around the dock and the lift, because on a tower the number of tonnes an hour you can get out of the building is the real constraint, not how fast anyone can fill a bin.

Dockets, and why you want them

Every load comes back with a weighbridge docket showing what it weighed and where it went.

If your project has council conditions, environmental reporting, a green star target or a head contractor waste management plan, that paperwork is your evidence. Assembling it after the fact from a waste broker who subcontracted the truck is a miserable exercise and it usually has holes in it.

Asbestos, contaminated soil and hazardous material are classified and disposed of separately under our own licences within Perfect Group. Never in a general load, whatever the programme pressure.

Frequently asked

Can you service a site every week without me ringing? Yes, and that is how most of our regular clients run it.

How quickly can you get a truck out? Often same day, because the trucks are ours rather than brokered. Ring rather than email if it is urgent.

Do you supply the labour to load? Yes, with tools and PPE included in the hourly rate.

What about asbestos found mid job? We hold the licences including friable, so it gets handled properly without you finding another contractor.

Do you work outside Sydney? Yes. Brisbane and South East Queensland out of Slacks Creek, and up the East Coast for the right job.

Tell us the site and the stage

Address, what stage the build is at, and whether a truck can get in. That is enough for a price and a plan for the next few months rather than a rate for one bin.
