Where We Are Taking This
This page is short on purpose. Most sustainability pages in our industry are a list of things a company intends to do and nobody ever comes back to check. These are the things we are actually working on.
Better waste data, not better claims

We can tell you what left every site and what it weighed. What we cannot yet do well is roll that up across a year, by material and by job type, and show a trend. That is the next thing we are fixing, because until you measure it properly you are guessing, and we would rather build the data first and publish a number afterwards than do it the other way around.

Salvage agreed before the job, not after
Salvaging fitout only works if it is agreed at quote stage. Once the crew is on a demolition rate and the bins are booked, everything goes in the bin. So we are pushing to raise it earlier, in the tender conversation, so clients understand it costs a little time and saves material that is often nearly new.
Training more people from scratch
Demolition is a trade somebody can start with no qualification and build a real career from. We want more of our crew to come through that way, with their tickets paid for and a clear path to supervisor. It is slower than hiring finished tradesmen and it is better for the business and for the people.

Saying what did not work
If something on this page has not moved in twelve months, we would rather say so than quietly reword it.

That is the only version of a page like this that is worth reading, and it is the only one worth writing.

Perfect Stripout & Demolition acknowledges the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people as Traditional Custodians of the country on which we live and work. We pay our respects to the Traditional Custodians and Elders past, present and future, and honour their connection to the land and ongoing contribution to society.
