Main tasks: floor preperation of 1500m2 strip out, detail demolition.
Perfect were engaged to complete demolition works within the Toys “R” Us store in Westfield Chatswood. The initial phase of the project involved stripping out all internal fixtures within the 1,500m2 shop, requiring a waste management plan including truck and skip bin scheduling, and removal of all waste to EPA approved waste recovery centers.
Detailed demolition works were undertaken by our concrete care division, involving concrete coring and cutting out penetrations in existing concrete fixtures.
The final stage of the works involved floor preparation of the complete 1,500m2 shop area, using a bobcat fitted with specially designed scraping attachment to remove all existing tiles. A large commercial concrete floor grinder was then used to grind the concrete removing any residue leftover after the tiles were removed to prepare the concrete floor for finishing.
