Perfect were engaged by Lemko and TOGA Group to carry out Demolition works at The Vibe Hotel at Rushcutters Bay. The work involved a back to base stripping out 253 guest rooms, which included the removal of Carpet, Bed Heads, TV Cabinet Units and Small Tile Removal in Bathrooms. Perfect provided a team of eleven skilled demolition and rubbish removal labourers to carry out the works. All work was supervised by our Site Supervisor Moustapha Merhi to ensure the safety of our team members and efficiency while carrying out the work.
- Strip out of 253 guest rooms
- Carpet Removal, Bed Heads, TV Cabinet Units, Small Tile Removal in Bathroom
- Back to base strip-out of all board rooms on Lvl2
- Removal of full pool deck on the roof
- Removal of 260m2 on floor tiles to be stripped back to concrete.
- Concrete Grinding for water-proofing removal
The scope of work also included a back to base strip out of all boardrooms and toilets on Lvl2 of the Hotel. Perfect provided all demolition labourers and rubbish removal required to carry out the works. To ensure the safety of our team members were required to complete a site induction with Lemko Project Manager Andrew Yap before proceeding to commence work on site.
Due to restricted access, Perfect is working closely with Lemko to request use of a Crane for works on the roof of the hotel. This would both speed up the project and ensure better safety for our works. Also, our client Lemko will provide and install safety anchor points on the roof to ensure the safety of our team members.
The scope of this project also includes the removal of floor tiles on the large balcony off the hotel. After the removal of the tiles is complete our sub-company Perfect Concrete Care can proceed to grind the water-proofing membrane down to remove it.
